Host a House Party

Did you know that hosting a house party can help promote an expanded vision for reproductive health & rights? The right and access to safe and legal abortion still needs support. However, this is only one issue that women and families face. There are many overlapping issues involved, and we need to expand our vision to best advance and protect reproductive health and rights.

Throughout the state, dedicated people just like you will host wine and cheese parties, coffee klatches, and dessert parties for their friends, families, neighbors, and co-workers as part of this campaign to educate, engage, mobilize and advocate for an expanded vision of reproductive health and rights.

With a very challenging political situation in Georgia, it is vital that we reach out to supportive people about what is happening in our state.

• You can sign up now using our online House Party Questionnaire. Or you can contact Whitney or Janelle at (404.248.5445) or email her at volunteer@feministcenter.org or community@feministcenter.org respectively to schedule a date for a house party. A four-week timeline for planning a host party is recommended.
• We'll either discuss with you or send you a "Party Profile" to fill out so we can confirm the arrangements needed for your house party.
• You will invite your friend, family or neighbors, and if you wish, we can invite other supporters in your area to attend. We will provide a speaker and program materials.
• Have a fabulous house party on the date scheduled!
• When your voice and efforts join with others, you can make a tremendous difference in advancing freedom, equality, justice, and human dignity for all.
