Medical Students for Choice Externs
Thank you for your interest in our opportunities
at Feminist Women's Health Center (FWHC).
Just like FWHC, Medical
Students for Choice® (MSFC) is also dedicated to ensuring
that women receive the full range of reproductive healthcare choices.
MSFC recognizes that one of the greatest obstacles to safe and legal
abortion is the absence of trained providers. As medical students
and residents, MSFC works to make reproductive health care, including
abortion, a part of standard medical education and residency training.
MSFC also works to bolster grassroots networks of support and activism
and to reform medical school curricula and residency programs to
include reproductive health and abortion care.
We at Feminist Women’s Health Center
align with Medical Students for Choice’s philosophy by acting
as a host facility for the Reproductive
Health Externship Program as well as partnering with numerous
organizational programs.
The Medical
Students for Choice Reproductive Health Externship Program requires
simultaneous applications – you need to submit an internship
application (link) and the noted supplementary materials while
also applying through the MSFC
website.
In order to apply with FWHC, you will need
to complete our Internship
