Wine, Cheese And Letter-Writing Nights
Date: Wed. 2/8, 2/22, 3/8 and 3/22 @ 6:00 pm
Details: Enjoy wine and cheese while meeting others who share your passion for advocacy & justice for a feminist cause in a dynamic and informal atmosphere; refreshments provided. Each gathering has a different theme centered on a current political issue.

“VOICE Beyond Choice” ADVOCACY DAYS At The State Capitol
Date: Every Wed. @ 9am to lunch time until the end of March
Details: Join others in making your voice heard! Training and support will be provided, if needed, on the advocacy process as well as a briefing on bills and issues for that day. Will help ease you into this process – our goal is to connect people to this dynamic sphere so every individual knows how to make their voice heard.

Weekend Volunteer Day !

Details: Drop in for an hour or two, meet others who share your passion, and help us with data entry, packet preparation, and many other tasks that are part of advocating for women’s health care.

Focus: Reproductive Justice Advocacy Training
Date: Wed. 2/24 & 3/31 @ 6-9pm
Details: Get involved in Reproductive Justice! Join us for what will be an exciting and fun evening filled with critical and dynamic conversation, food and laughter. We will cover the history and politics plus some brief skill building work. Empower yourself.

For Spanish Speakers: Clinic Interpreter Training
Date: Sat. 2/20 @ 1-3pm
Details: A 6-month commitment is required. A separate application is required in order to be eligible for this training.
More info: Applications must be submitted on Monday, February 15. These trainings only happen once every quarter.

The Lifting Latina Voices Initiative (LLVI)
Date: To be determined
Details: A dynamic and innovative program serving the Latina community including events, workshops, trainings, presentations, outreach and much more. For example, the Latinas Take Action workshop which aim to discuss and address the issues and barriers immigrants face (includes those from the culture and external) and provide a safe space to talk about these. The Latina Leadership Committee (LLC) is comprised of Latinas and helps govern the LLVI and members are involved with program planning, recruitment and assist with special projects/events.

Fundraising Event Training!
Date: Wednesday 2/10 @ 6-9pm
Details: Join us for this fun and easy way to learn about event planning and fundraising. We are holding a “happy hour” event at a local restaurant or bar to raise both some funds and some awareness about ways to be involved. You may join a committee to organize this gathering.

We need your help to educate, engage, mobilize and advocate for an expanded holistic vision of reproductive health and rights.
