The Feminist Women’s Health Center is dedicated to educating our supporters and community partners on how to advocate.

Every year before the state legislature convenes, we hold a day-long workshop on a Saturday to train advocates. This workshop is geared towards first-time advocates and those who want to sharpen their advocacy skills. We focus on teaching skills to be an effective advocate at the state level, although the skills and information can be readily applied to national issues as well.

Reproductive freedom in the U.S. is in jeopardy and the situation in Georgia is dire. More than 15 restrictive & dangerous bills are pending in the state legislature.

Want to do something about it? Join our Legislative Advocacy Workshop to learn about these bills, reproductive justice in Georgia and how to be an effective advocate. Meet state legislators, our coalition partners and lobbyist and find out what you can do to make an impact. Your voice is vital!
