SPRING CLEANING VOLUNTEER-A-THON @ FWHC

Our Volunteer-A-Thon is a phone-banking event to further develop FWHC’s volunteer program. Each day of the Volunteer-A-Thon we will phone members of our volunteer lists for three hours in order to identify volunteers who are still interested, determine their volunteer status, update all information in the database, and recruit volunteers for upcoming fall outreach activities. WHO NEEDS FEMINISM? Spoken Word Open Mic Event

Help us celebrate our Who Needs Feminism? campaign! We will reveal images collected of our volunteers, staff and friends giving statements of why feminism is important to them. Featuring performances by Tawny Powell and Akua Taylor, the open mic performers will have 8 minutes to present on topics reflecting issues of feminism.
